CANADA CONSIDERING TERMINATING BACKLOG WITH LEGISLATION

Most newspapers report today that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration  Jason Kenney is  considering considering legislation to end the almost one million applications in the backlog. No doubt this will be a controversial move, but one that seems absolutely necessary to restore some sense of sanity to the system, which is collapsing under its own weight.
