ONTARIO SHARE OF IMMIGRATION DROPS

See article below. Immigrants follow jobs, and the reason why Ontario's share has declined has to do with jobs and where they are available, particularly in the West. Alberta and BC usually attract the highly skilled technical trades with pre-arranged jobs, while Ontario gets the rest, usually harder to employ immigrants, and the refugee claimants who will have a hard time integrating. We should not be surprised that jobs and opportunity attract larger numbers. Ontario must change its policies from "immigrant welfare" driven to "immigrant opportunity" centered, by reducing incentives that attract those who we do not needed, and increase incentives to those we need.
